                  How would you like to be one of 250 grand prize winners of two round-trip tickets on Delta Air Lines to New York City? To be eligible to win, here's all you have to do. 

                  On a postcard depicting your hometown, hand print your name, address, zip code, day and evening telephone numbers, and one sentence explaining "why you're ready to go to New York." Then, mail to "The Delta Write In To Win Sweepstakes", P.O. Box 7153, Melville, NY 11775-7153. Entries must be received by midnight December 1, 2001. 

                  Winners will be drawn at random on or about December 7, 2001. For more information regarding our sweepstakes rules, see our Official Rules and Conditions below. 

                 Official Rules and Conditions
                  No purchase is required. The Delta Write In To Win Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins on October 16, 2001 and ends on December 1, 2001 ("Entry Period"). Two Hundred Fifty (250) winners will be selected to receive a grand prize of two round-trip tickets on Delta Air Lines to New York City. All entries become the exclusive property of Delta and none will be returned or
                  acknowledged. 

                 1. TO ENTER: On a postcard depicting your home town, or on a plain 3" x 5" piece of paper, hand print your name, complete address, zip code and day and evening telephone numbers, and one sentence explaining "why you’re ready to go to New York".  Mail your completed 3" x 5" paper in a hand-addressed stamped envelope or mail your postcard with postage affixed to: The Delta Write In To Win Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 7153, Melville, NY 11775-7153. Entries must be received by midnight December 1, 2001. Winner will be drawn at random on or about December 7, 2001, from eligible entries received by December 1, 2001. The random drawing will be conducted by Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes ends December 1, 2001. 

                 2. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes will begin on October 16, 2001, and is open to legal residents of the United States, excluding NY, who are aged 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Personnel, including their immediate families and household members, of Delta Air Lines, Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, Don Jagoda  Associates, Inc. and its personnel, including their immediate families and household members and Digitas LLC and its personnel, including their immediate families and household members, are not eligible (collectively and individually referred to as "Agents"). This Sweepstakes is void in NY and where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws. 

                 3. PRIZES, APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE AND APPROXIMATE ODDS OF WINNING: (250) Grand Prizes: Each prize includes Delta round-trip Coach Class transportation for two persons from the Delta city nearest the winner's home to New York City (ARV $400). Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Airline carrier’s regulations and conditions apply. Prize does not include ground transportation or hotel accommodations. Travel on tickets must be completed by May 31, 2002. 

                  4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Reservations are subject to availability, and certain restrictions apply. Travel is via Delta Air Lines only and does not include Delta Connection Carriers. Delta SkyMiles mileage will not be awarded. Tickets will not be upgraded, and stopovers will not be allowed. Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and is valid only as detailed above with no substitution or transfer of prize by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value in the event of prize unavailability. Winner is responsible for all taxes and airport charges, which may vary by airport, arising from their receipt of the prize. 

                 5. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Two Hundred Fifty (250) winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release within 10 days of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of prize constitutes permission to Delta, Digitas and their designees or agents to use the winners’ names, cities, states, likenesses and voices for purposes of Delta advertising, Sweepstakes and publicity without additional prize or compensation. If any prize-related documents are undeliverable or if winner fails to return the Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release and other legal documents in a timely manner, or in the event of noncompliance with any other requirements, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. 

                 6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: No responsibility is assumed for lost, damaged, misdirected, illegible, postage due or late entries or mail. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor and its agencies assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any       prize. 

                 7. ADDITIONAL RULES: This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Delta Air Lines, Inc. Entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and by the Sponsor's decisions, which shall be considered final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules or otherwise tampered with any element of the Sweepstakes. This promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law.
